Progress with striking of scaffolding at a 13th century priory in rural Gloucestershire this week. The central later frame was suffering ongoing movement and significant water ingress. Our brief was to reinstate missing timbers which had been removed for a large UPVC window, realign the frame and carry out careful repairs to the stone and framework. Heavy cement render was removed from the stonework allowing the building to breath once again. .
